What is better than watching Eugene the Landlord on Flight of the Conchords? That would be watching Eugene Mirman live, before your very eyes. Quite possibly, it will be leaps and bounds better than just watching the YouTube clips, or perhaps even listening to his inaugural Sub Pop release, En Garde, Society!, which is saying a lot.
Mirman will not go it alone, either. Andy Kindler and Marc Maron will be joining him for a substantial part of the trip. Todd Barry might document his stint via his online receipt museum. And finally, Patton Oswalt will be sharing the stage on the comedy side of Sub Pop’s 20th Anniversary Festival.
Also notable is the Brooklyn show, which benefits South Toward Home, an organization that is helping rebuilding efforts in the Gulf Coast.
