New Oasis album definitely may be coming soon

In an interview with Russell Brand, Noel Gallagher announced that Oasis’ next album is due out sometime next September. Gallagher was hesitant to say an exact date, though, for fear of his manager’s wrath.

Last December the guys from Manchester were back in the studio, mostly at Abbey Road to be precise, and then later finished out the record in Los Angeles with producer David Sardy. There have reportedly been three tracks leaked from the untitled project, which will be the band's seventh studio album: “I Wanna Live A Dream (In My Record Machine),” “Nothin’ On Me” and “Stop The Clocks.” However, the Oasis official site assures that these are merely b-sides from previous projects.

If September seems too far away, check out the forthcoming Paul Weller single on May 26. The song features Noel on bass and piano on “Have You Made Up Your Mind / Echoes Round The Sun,” which the pair wrote together. The track also appears on Weller’s album 22 Dreams, which will see stateside release June 24 via Yep Roc.
