Baumbach to direct Amy Adams, Mark Ruffalo in film

As usual, writer/director Noah Baumbach has managed to wrangle himself two A-list actors for his next film, entitled Greenburg. The director of critically acclaimed indie fare like Margot at the Wedding, The Squid and the Whale, and Kicking and Screaming, has already directed William Baldwin, Nicole Kidman, Jeff Daniels and wife Jennifer Jason Leigh, and is now set to add Amy Adams and Mark Ruffalo to that already impressive list.

Details about the movie's plot have yet to be revealed (it's so new that it's not even listed on Baumbach's IMDb page), but apparently it's a relationship dramedy. Thankfully, with Baumbach's name attached to it, you can be fairly certain that regardless of genre, it'll be a little bit more high-browed than some of Ruffalo's most recent romantic comedy choices like Rumor Has It... and Just Like Heaven. Scott Rudin, who worked with Baumbach on The Squid and the Whale, is attached to produce.
