Residents of our nation's capital are in for a treat this June. The homegrown boys of the Thievery Corporation will host their annual mini-fest at the Merriweather Pavilion just outside of the District's limits, and this year's line-up is killer.
TV on the Radio, Ladytron and ESL labelmate Federico Aubele (who you'll be able to pick out of the crowd, if for no other reason besides his awesome white-dude afro) will join Thievery Corp at the outdoor pavilion, daring attendees to try, just try, not to dance under the passing stars until the morning comes. (Thievery fans: See what we just did there?)
But, that's not all! The Corp. will also play several other dates around the United States, including one in Vegas with odd couple Gnarls Barkley as well as Bebel Gilberto. If that interests you at all, you should make the effort to get there, as reports will likely be scant. After all, what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.
