Born to Tour: Bruce Springsteen adds more U.S. dates

The pride and joy of the Garden State is finally ready to wind down his tireless concert schedule, but not before adding a few more dates. Yes, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band have tacked on seven more U.S. shows to their seemingly never-ending tour. Although they've been charming Europeans as of late, they'll soon return to U.S. soil for the tour's finish, kicking off with a three-day stint in (surprise!) New Jersey in late July.

Springsteen's tour began last October in support of Magic, which clinched the number three spot on Paste's 2007 Signs of Life.  The new year brought more honors for the rock icon, now 23 albums deep, who took home three Grammys and became one of the first-ever inductees to the New Jersey Hall of Fame.

So far, Springsteen's tour boasts a cool $84 million, playing to 873, 000 over the course of 50 shows, Billboard reports. No wonder dude is adding on more shows.
