Remedy Office withdrawal with Rainn Wilson news

Experiencing headaches, anxiety, nausea or tipsy Thursday-night Freecell binges? With The Office off the air, we've been twitching any time we see a deck of cards, too. But we've got some news that'll trigger enough Office neurons to silence the queasiness until the fifth season.

Paste has a special video of Mr. Wilson at Sasquatch, which we'll reveal soon. In the meantime,  /Film reports he's scheduled to make a cameo in Transformers 2 and rub joints with fistfuls of celebrities for the new animated film Monsters Vs. Aliens. All this in addition to his previously reported forthcoming flick, The Rocker. How's that for rehab?

In T2, Wilson will play a college professor. He maintains he hasn't even seen the script yet, but joked to MTV that he'll play “a professor that turns into a car that turns into a robot."

And in The Rocker, Wilson will play a long-haired drummer named Robert "Fish" Fishman kicked out of his band. After 20 years, he joins his nephew's rock band that is in need of his expertise for, wait for it, prom. Emma Stone—Seth's red-haired love interest in Superbad—returns to the big screen along with Christina Applegate, Jeff Garlin, Demetri Martin and Aziz Ansari.

But wait, there's more! Wilson will also lend his voice to the animated film Monsters Vs. Aliens, which features Seth Rogen, Hugh Laurie, Paul Rudd, Reese Witherspoon, Kiefer Sutherland, Will Arnett and Stephen Colbert. Go ahead and read that cast line-up again. Sounds fun, no?
