Jay Sweet talks Bonnaroo and more with Boston's Fox 25

Back from the land of six-dollar beer, port-o-potties and hippie folk, Paste editor-at-large Jay Sweet appeared this morning on Boston's Fox 25 to wrap up the highlights of  Bonnaroo 2008.

Sweet, who penned our current cover story on My Morning Jacket, raved about the four-hour set Jim James and Co. performed to rain-soaked fans (complete with a little help from Kirk Hammett and Zach Galifianakis). He also discussed how impressed he was by "arena-rock worthy" Pearl Jam and cancer-survivor Levon Helm.

Sweet also gave viewers a heads-up that Paste captured José González delivering an exclusive ferris wheel serenade which will be posted on the Paste Culture Club blog soon. He left off with a few comments about the current issue, including his nod to Boston-based record store, Newbury Comics in Paste's round-up of the coolest brick-and-mortar music retailers. Watch Sweet here to hear him dish about his favorite bands and comedians of the weekend, and why Kanye West didn't make nice with the festival-goers.
