If there are two things that make for great down-home southern rock, it's a religious upbringing and Jack Daniels. Those of you wistful for the bluesy days of yore can rest a little bit easier now, because Kings of Leon has both of those bases covered. The Followill brothers and their cousin (think the von Trapps, but with more hard rocking) just sent out a statement announcing that their new LP, Only By The Night, will be released on Sept. 23.
Naturally, after a year of selling out shows spanning the U.S. and U.K., there's going to be a tour to promote this sucker. If you happen to find yourself in Europe this summer, grab your favorite bottle of hooch and show them that we may not be able to play soccer that well, but we can yell "FREEBIRD!" at concerts with the best of 'em.
