Michel Gondry launching a website

Michel Gondry launching a website

When he's not making features, Michel Gondry keeps busy with little things. A music video here, a rubix cube puzzle there, at the very least he keeps people guessing about his next project.  But it looks like right now that project is designing his new website and, from the look of it so far, he's making it just as idiosyncratic as his movies.

Gondry is nothing if not hands on, so while while the site itself is still a little ways off, he threw a splash image onto MichelGondry.com that gives some info as to its features. Here's a rundown of the new items it promises:

-A book on the "tokyo show" (presumably an art show based upon the upcoming triptych film he's contributing to, Tôkyô!).

-The long-promised second volume of his music videos. Now if he could only get his buddy Spike Jonze to follow suit.

-A DVD release of the French cut of The Science of Sleep, said to contain, "a fully new version (only unseen footage)."

-And last but not least, 1,000 bad jokes on toilette paper. Seriously.
