Mugison conquers Canada, lives to video blog his experience

Mugison, that well-traveled Icelandic musician and Paste favorite, is having a splendid time up in Canada touring with buddies Queens of the Stone Age, if his video blogs are any indication.

Apparently he's been up to the usual tomfoolery, and recording his band's antics for an outofcontrolridiculous video blog on Mugison.com. After a false start on the first posting, Mugi promises to "help [us] through life" via the blog—assuming "help" means providing his adoring public with montages complete with cowboy hats, aviator shades, funky electro beats and kinda-impromptu dance parties.

It's not all fun and games, though—he also got down to business, recording an acoustic song, "To The Bone," at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. Check out the exclusive track here.

In other Mugison news, his fourth LP, Mugiboogie, will be out in North America July 22 via Ipecac Recordings.
