Frank Black to tour with, without Stone Temple Pilots

Here comes your man. Lead Pixie Frank Black will be on the road again soon under his Black Francis moniker, playing a small collection of shows this summer, most of them opening for grunge aces Stone Temple Pilots.

A recent statement from the man born Charles Thompson spills all the details on his forthcoming spree across the Midwest. You know what this calls for, of course. Rev the engine, crank down the windows and pop in Purple for a little "Interstate Love Song" while you road trip it to one of these shows:
