Someone take his juice box away; there's no stopping the man. Following his stint as Buster Bluth in the cult-comedy opus Arrested Development, Tony Hale became downright prolific, clawing out roles in a swathe of television shows and movies. It looks like he's dead set on continuing this workmanlike output, because it was recently announced by the Hollywood Reporter that Hale is set to join two different shows this fall, on two different networks.
Hale will be donning the mantle of middle manager Emmet in NBC's Chuck, a role the Hollywood Reporter describes as "An efficiency expert. He is sent in by Buy More corporate and decides to stay on when he realizes how poorly run the store is." He'll also be joining the cast of ABC's Samantha Who? to play Andy Adams, the titular character's doctor.
It's good to see that everyone's favorite overly-mothered introvert has finally spread his wings. Just like Buster taught us: When life hands you a chance, you grab that brownish area by its points and don't let go no matter what your mom says.
