The Raconteurs announce more tour dates

The Raconteurs have added 12 fall tour dates to their previously reported nationwide tour.

The band’s sophomore album, Consolers of the Lonely, was released March 25, a date chosen about a week beforehand so that the record would be available in all formats at the same time. The album’s first single, “Salute Your Solution,” was released the same day, in an effort to introduce the release to critics and fans without any preconceived ideas or impressions.

The band began touring to promote Consolers of the Lonely in April, and will be hitting the summer music festival circuit hard with performances at Bonnaroo and the Treasure Island Festival this summer. Previously, the band also visited Coachella.
