When looking at a Post 80's sitcom as the best... I would argue for the Simpsons simply because it does all of the things that the other shows did (ground breaking, new, fun, twist, and even growth) but it spans MORE of the years that are Post 80's.
Seinfeld, hands down. All of the really great sitcoms in recent years - Arrested Development, The Office, 30 Rock - owe so much to Jerry, George, Elaine and Kramer.
Grace Woodroofe’s voice calls to mind Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone and Etta James—maybe even the weighty, raspiness of Tom Waits. Certainly not a 22-year-old singer/songwriter from Perth, Australia. more
