Almost a year after piquing the blogosphere's interest at its decisive Pop Fest performance in Athens, Ga., Black Kids will return to the road this fall to show the hype propagators who's bad.
Although they hadn't yet toured even regionally at the peak of
their blog buzz (when the "knob that adjusted the rate at which we're
getting known," guitarist Richie Youngblood contended, had been
unfairly thrust to 10), the Kids have had time since to tighten whatever loose
ends were left over from being a plain old, brand new band.
