Cold War Kids to release new album, tour
A somewhat reliable source once told us sophomore means "wise fool" in Greek, and while this is commonly seen in the second-year college student whose GPA takes a nosedive due to excessive beer-bonging, its also seen in the music world.
With their sophomore album coming out in September, it will be interesting to see if the Cold War Kids go down the wise path, meander into fool territory, or end up somewhere in between (Mediocreville, in case you were wondering). Given the critical and commercial success of the band's debut, Robbers and Cowards, we're betting (or at least hoping) the Kids have gone with the first route.
In addition to a new album, the band is gearing up for a North American tour, starting in August at the Outside Lands Festival in San Francisco and ending in October at the Voodoo Music Experience in New Orleans.
