We hope it's not spoiling anything if we admit to squirming in our seats a bit while watching The Dark Knight last week. Perhaps you, too, felt there were a few decisions you might have changed, a few lives you might have tried to save. Or maybe you just want to try your hand with the new gadgets Christian Bale wielded in IMDb's new #1 movie.
Whatever your motivations, an answer is coming: The Dark Knight video game is in the works.
/Gamer reports that Gary Oldman (who plays Lt. James Gordon in the film) confirmed a scheduled release around the same time as the DVD/Blu-ray. Although no other information is currently available, the fact that Oldman knows anything at all has begun speculation that the game features voice work by the film's actors—perhaps even Heath Ledger.
As gaming fanatics pray for a little decency ("Now please Lord, can we finally have a respectable Batman game for once!?" pleads /Gamer.), we're just excited to, well, get in the game.

i think a dark knight video needs to come out, but i think it should be somewhat strategic rather than just going in there guns blazing, something along the lines of the last metal gear solid game just with out long cutscenes
