Dungen to release 4th album

On the heels of its 2007 full-length Tio Bitar, Swedish psych band Dungen has set a fall release for new album 4.

According to the band's Kemado profile, mastermind Gustav Ejstes both fancies himself a hip-hop producer and seeks to move Dungen "past psychedelia into something far more rare." Look for "orchestrated, jazz-cooled compositions with cinematic undertones" on 4.

The band will embark on a U.S. tour come late October, but dates and stops have yet to be announced.
