James Brown: gone but certainly not forgotten. The Godfather of Soul's legacy continues to live on with a new three-disc DVD box set from Shout Factory titled I Got The Feelin’: James Brown in the ’60s.
The box set, which will drop Aug. 5, includes a director's cut of The Night James Brown Saved Boston, a live concert performance documentary that debuted at SXSW earlier this year, as well as two other full-length concert performances where Brown is truly at his best—James Brown Live at The Boston Garden from April 1968 and Man to Man - James Brown Live at The Apollo Theater 1968.
Also included on the three DVDs are a bevvy of interviews with Brown's friends, colleagues and band members, as well as backstage performance footage.
