James Hunter to tour with Chris Isaak

British soul singer James Hunter, who recently released The Hard Way on Starbucks' Hear Music label, will join Chris Isaak on the road this August...

"I was a James Hunter fan the moment I heard him sing," Isaak said in a recent statement. "If you haven't heard a soul singer with a great band and swinging horns then get your shoes shined and get ready."

Hunter has been playing and recording music across the pond for 20 years, but earned widespread accolades stateside for 2006's People Gonna Talk, including a Grammy nomination.

Before kicking off the tour, Hunter will appear on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on July 14.
