Rosebuds to release Life Like in October

Perusing the interwebs via a Google search for Life Like, we came across some goofy things. Most notably, this "life-like foam cooler" and allegedly life-like robot, which just rekindled our childhood fear of spilling water on our stuffed animals post-Gremlins.

We'll just stick to the new Rosebuds album, Life Like, which will be released in October. The Raleigh, N.C. duo decided to finish up some earlier, more acoustically inclined material. Bon Iver's Justin Vernon appears on the album, alongside Portastatic's Matthew McCaughan (he also of Superchunk and co-founder of the Rosebuds' label, Merge) and Ashley Stove's Jim Brantley. The Rosebuds' last album was last year's synth-happy Night of the Furies.

The band will tour in support of the album come fall.
