Wilco announces summer tour plans

Summer has a way of feeling light, as if you can float along aimlessly as you please like a feather in the wind, or maybe a hummingbird. And there are few more pleasant soundtracks to summer than the soothing melancholies of Jeff Tweedy and Wilco.

Tweedy’s croon has a way of making even his dark skeletons seem downright amiable, and now he and the boys are once again taking their show on the road (and with quite an impressive rotating supporting cast, we might add). Although, it may not feel like fun in the sun for the band right away, with not one but two kick-off dates in Alaska.
