Barenaked Ladies' Ed Robertson walks away from plane crash

Barenaked Ladies guitarist/singer Ed Robertson survived a float plane crash in Ontario Sunday afternoon. The musician, who got his pilot's license in 2005, was behind the controller while wife Natalie and two other friends were also on board. No one was injured.

Robertson, in a letter to fans on the bands site, said: "I want to thank fans and friends for all your support and good wishes throughout this crazy experience. As has been reported, my plane crashed shortly after take off. There's a lot to figure out, but there's a team of experts currently figuring it out! The important thing is that none of us were harmed and we all walked away unscathed." No other further comments have been made.

In a rough week for accidents, musician Will Hoge suffered injuries after being hit by a van last week. Keep it safe, people!
