Weezer sent an invitation out to fans through its e-mail
list to be in the band's next music video.
Seeing as how last time Rivers Cuomo and Co. gave out such an invite it lead fans to the
Playboy Mansion, we thought it only prudent to send the info to any interested
readers that will be in the Los Angeles area this tomorrow (Aug. 21) and willing to take the day off for some filming.
No info
about who’s directing the video or what the premise will be, but the song will
be “Troublemaker.” According to the
e-mail, the video will be in the spirit of the group’s recent Hootenanny concerts,
where they ask interested fans to come up with whatever instruments they have
and play along with the band. “In the
spirit of the recent Hootenannys, yet going far FAR beyond that at the same
time (you'll see...heh heh),” wrote band manager/roadie/professional friend of
Rivers Cuomo, Karl Koch.
To get your chance to appear in the video, simply send an
email to weezervideo@gmail.com.
