Black Lips announce fall U.S. tour dates

Seeing a Black Lips gig can sometimes feel more like a Vegas variety show than a garage rock concert. After all, it's not like you most Shins involve such, ahem, extracurriculars as free-flying ricocheted vomit, urine and other unknown bodily fluids. And while these outlandish shows are certainly worth your price of admission for pure insanity alone (despite the fact that the Lips have toned it down quite a bit in recent years), these antics can occasionally obscure the fact that this band makes uniquely refreshing subgenre-bending music that quite simply and unapologetically rocks.

Fresh off their Lollapalooza breakfast-time set and a special Brooklyn pool party show with their pals Deerhunter and King Khan, the boys are back on the road with newly announced fall tour dates, ready to come, see and conquer a city near you.
