Broken Social Scene extends tour into fall

The college years can be tough. Late nights out, living on beer and wings, having little-to-no responsibility outside of schoolwork: these things can start to get old after a while. At least that's what we've been telling ourselves since we graduated.

Broken Social Scene is only making those of us that already have degrees more nostalgic for the Frisbee-on-the-quad years. The group is extending its U.S. tour into the fall with a heavy emphasis on the college-town circuit. The tour brings together seven of the Scenesters and will feature some sing-along BSS favorites, as well as the Broken Social Scene Presents solo work of Kevin Drew and Brendan Canning.

If you don't have tickets for the already-announced dates (or won't be in South America in late August) we recommend throwing back a few cheap beers, putting on your favorite item of college mascot paraphernalia and checking out the new stops below:
