No, it seems that the new way to thank a band for coming to your city and performing is jacking their equipment. The list is longer and more diverse than you might think; The Decemberists, Dinosaur Jr and countless others have been hit recently by snatch-and-grabs. The latest victim of this spree are punk achitects Iggy Pop and the Stooges, whose gear was stolen yesterday morning after a show in Montreal.
