Fans of Fox action drama 24 have been patiently awaiting their
Bauer fix for over a year now, and guess what? Jack's back (we just had
to say it)! Returning for a seventh season this January, fans can begin
to ease their withdrawal early with the upcoming TV movie, 24: Exile,
which is set to premiere on Fox Nov. 23.
The two-hour movie, a prequel for season seven, bridges the gap between
seasons six and seven (a gap made excruciatingly wide by the WGA strike) and sets up the intense, adrenaline-pumping plot that
is expected of the series. 24: Exile is set to deliver
die-hard fans a new female president, a new location and new hopes
for the much-discussed potential of a feature-length film.
Although director Jon Cassar has emphasized the difficulty of creating
a feature while writers are working on the show, he has
noted that, with the completion of 24: Exile, a theatrical film version
of 24 is being talked about now more than ever.
