Following accident, Will Hoge's condition upgraded to stable

A scary moment last Wednesday: Nashville songwriter Will Hoge suffered broken bones and other injuries when he was hit by a van while riding his scooter. Hoge was heading home from the studio where he was recording his follow-up to 2007's Draw The Curtains when the accident occurred.

Thankfully, news came Friday that Hoge's condition has been upgraded to stable. Said Dr. John A. Morris Jr., director of the Division of Trauma at Vanderbilt Medical Center, “Mr. Hoge suffered multiple injuries during the accident, however, he is progressing according to plans.”

Paste continues to wish Will a speedy recovery. And as for the rest of you, whether a bike, scooter, skateboard, ATV or compact is your vehicle of choice, be safe out there on those streets, all right?
