Bob Dylan's Tell Tale Signs streams for free this week

| | Comments (1)
Bob Dylan fans, set your watches: Beginning tonight at midnight, his 2-disc, 27 song collection Tell Tale Signs will stream for free on NPR Music for a full week leading up to the album's official release Oct. 7.
The album is the eighth entry in the legendary artist's "Bootleg Series," which compiles rare/unreleased and live recordings. Highlights from Tell Tale Signs include rare tracks from 1989 to 2006, covering records like Oh Mercy (1989), Time Out of Mind (1997) up to Modern Times (2006). An unreleased track from Time Out of Mind entitled "Dreamin' of You" is available for free from Dylan's website.

I didn't realize how much I'm looking forward to this release until I read this news item. While I'm not a fan of Dylan's live shows as of late, he's still putting out great albums. And that teaser song has whetted my appetite. (I need to check the Paste stacks for review copies more often.)
