Capitol/EMI release limited edition vinyl from the vaults

On Sept. 2, Capitol Records launched "From the Capitol Vaults," a project to release 13 classic, out-of-print vinyl records. The remastered titles are limited edition and are 180-gram audiophile quality with original artwork and packaging.

On Sept. 30, the project continues with the release of two iconic albums; Jimi Hendrix's Band of Gypsys and John Lennon's Imagine.

The series debut included A Perfect Circle's Mer de Noms; The Beach Boys' Pet Sounds; Coldplay's Parachutes, A Rush Of Blood To The Head and X&Y; Radiohead's Pablo Honey, The Bends, OK Computer, Kid A, Amnesiac and Hail To The Thief; R.E.M.'s Document; and Steve Miller Band's Greatest Hits 1974-78.

More titles will be announced soon.
