Diane Kruger and Til Schweiger are also Inglorious Bastards

The Hollywood Reporter has listed the latest round of updates for Quentin Tarantino's Inglorious Bastards. First up is Diane Kruger, who's been cast as Bridget Von Hammersmark in a role previously thought to go to Nastassja Kinski. Kruger's  not particularly well-known and her few large feature performances come from Troy and the National Treasure movies, which weren't exactly roles that made her stretch. Still, Tarantino's got an incredible eye for talent, so he must see something there that others haven't.

Tarantino's other casting choice was Til Schweiger, a German actor probably best known or his work in Keinohrhasen, which he also directed. This means the cast currently includes Christoph Waltz, Daniel Bruhl, Eli Roth, Mike Myers and a little-known actor we expect to hear a lot from named Brad Pitt. Anyone care to play a game of "which one of these is not like the others?" Inglorious Bastards will be shooting in the middle of October, so expect to hear the end of these seemingly never-ending casting announcements soon.
