Gainesville, Florida is kind of a Real Big Deal

If you want the most bang for your music-festival buck, look no further than The Real Big Deal Festival in Gainesville, Fla.

Four stages worth of music—including the Drive-By Truckers (above), Mates of State, Toubab Krewe, Benevento/Russo Duo, Motion City Soundtrack, Bombadil and Wild Sweet Orange—camping, and visual arts…all for the rock-bottom price of $53 for a weekend pass. The Real Big Deal will take over the Alachua County Fairgrounds on the outskirts of the Gainesville this weekend, Sept. 13-14, and is a completely grass-roots, locally produced festival.
