Goldfrapp will bring its infectious electronica pop (electronipop? poptronica? too much?) to North American shores this fall.
The British duo will kick off a scant five tour dates in New York at Radio City Music Hall on Sept. 12, before heading to Canada and the West Coast.
Goldfrapp's latest album, Seventh Tree, was a bit of a departure from previous releases Supernature and We Are Glitter, as it drew inspiration from a more acoustic sound. The band's Caravan Girl EP is also out, as well an iTunes Original Session. Caravan Girl features two versions of the title track, a live acoustic version of "Monster Love" and Animal Collective's remix of "Little Bird."
