It's Always Sunny writers launch official blog for the series

Pop Candy reports that the always-effervescent writers of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia have taken the next step toward total world domination... they've created a blog. And not just any blog, but a hilarious tribute to their FX series that they intend to max out with extra content.

Run by series writers Sonny Lee and Patrick Walsh, Paddy's Pub promises to be updated at least once a week up to and throughout the new season (which premieres Sept. 18 at 10 p.m.).

In the blog's first post, Walsh outlines his intended purpose for the site, writing, "For starters, this will be a production blog offering a behind-the-scenes look at what goes on...behind the scenes. There'll be videos, interviews with the cast and crew, and more. More! The cast is filming personal responses to your questions...we're kicking off a 'Sex n' Business' advice column...and we've published a lost chapter from the erotic memoirs of Dennis Reynolds."

Not bad, huh? Get your fix before the show returns for its fourth season.
