After communicating his admiration for her on a barroom wall, John Darnielle finally got to make it with one of his favorite gals. The woman in question? Guitaruoso Kaki King (a Paste favorite, too, incidentally).
Over at his blog, Last Plane to Jakarta, Darnielle has expressed hearty appreciation of King's skill with a fretboard. She finally succumbed to the allure of the lead Capricorn this spring, after he scrawled a message for her on the wall of the Portland club Doug Fir.
