Paul Westerberg has released a new track called "Bored of Edukation," which is available through TuneCore and Amazon.com.
Chances are fans will have a better chance to catch this nearly five minute song than they did Westerberg's previous collaboration with TuneCore. His 49:00 project MP3 was pulled off the site after losing a bout with copyright infringement (and turns out, it wasn't exactly 49 minutes, which prompted Westerberg to follow it up with 5:05.) TuneCore, which has been kicking around since 2005, has worked with myriad artists such as MGMT, Ben Kweller, Meiko, Jason Mraz, Josh Ritter and The Black Crowes in helping to deliver their music to online retailers such as iTunes, Amazon and Rhapsody.

um, yeah, um www.paulwesterberg.net ain't actually his official site. and the dude that runs it is actually a chick. you should probably get a better fact checker.
Plus, the chick who runs it (an incredibly talented blogger) wrote about Paste continually mistaking her for Paul Westerberg today:
http://www.iwilldare.com/2008/09/25/why-is-it-so-hard-to-believe-that-i-am-not-paul-westerberg/
As long as we're on the subject of misspelling and fact checking, copyright doesn't have a 'w' in it, and when referring to the band, Crowes does have an 'e'.
