The Smashing Pumpkins will release their new single, “G.L.O.W.,” as part of the Guitar Hero: World Tour video game, before releasing it to the public.
The song will be available via download for the forthcoming Guitar Hero installation, and will include two of the Smashing Pumpkins’ classics: “1979” and “The Everlasting Gaze.” Their 1993 hit “Today” will come with the game’s core song pack. World Tour will also feature frontman Billy Corgan as one of the avatar characters.
The downloadable three-song pack is expected to be available in the next few weeks, sometime after the premiere of World Tour.
