The Little Ones release Morning Tide, tour with Walkmen

September 9, 2008  |  11:21am
Los Angeles indie-pop squad The Little Ones explain on their website how they realized once upon a time "that their only weapon against reality was their imagination." So what did they do? All that a group can, really. "They embarked on a radical experiment: to see if they could convince themselves that everything was going to be all right."

After two EPs, their experiment-cum-sunshine-pop-band will finally flesh out its first full-length, Morning Tide, on Oct. 7 via Chop Shop Records. This release comes several months after the album's July 28 drop into the U.K. and a month after The Little Ones leave home for a world tour with The Walkmen, whose recent You & Me has garnered them some new waves of praise.
