HBO's new vampire series True Blood, which was just optioned for a second season despite sluggish viewership, has now confirmed four forthcoming regulars.
Mehcad Brooks, Todd Lowe, Deborah Ann Woll and Michelle
Forbes have gone from guest stars to recurring characters. While the debut date of each actor is different (Lowe [Gilmore Girls] entered with TB's famously ratings-boosted second episode "The First Taste," while Mechad Brooks [Desperate Housewives]
won't appear until the season closer), all four are written into the finale. Their regular appearances begin next summer, during the
second season.
