Beck launches Sirius radio weekend takeover right now

Well, if you want to get technical about it, he launched it a minute before this story was posted. But still.

Starting today at 3pm EST, Beck took over Left of Center, Sirius' channel 26, with Radio Beck. The show will air through Sunday.

The show will give the appropriately left-of-center songwriter a chance to share the story and making of behind his new album, Modern Guilt, as well as a chance for him to play some of the songs off the album live. He will also discuss his past work and will play songs from "various artists who have influenced him throughout his career," according to the show's press release.

Sirius has also announced that they will play a live recording of his performance at the Austin City Limits Festival from last month. It will air (EST) at 12 a.m., 2 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Saturday, 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Sunday, and 2 a.m., 12 p.m., 8 p.m. and 12 a.m. on Monday.
