Buzzcocks to reissue back catalog

It's gonna take more than a spin-off on the Beeb to keep the elder statesmen of post-punk relevant. Like any band that's been in the biz for more than 30 years, the time is ripe for a bit of catering to the fanbase, so the Buzzcocks will be reissuing their first three studio albums in late October.

Another Music in a Different Kitchen, Love Bites and A Different Kind of Tension will all be getting the two-disc re-release treatment. The albums' first discs will have the original tracklisting, plus some studio outtakes, and the second discs will be loaded with demos, live recordings and other goodies aimed squarely at obsessives.

All three albums are due out Oct. 27 on the UK's EMI label, William S. Burroughs quotations and all.
