Billboard has announced that Coachella plans to move their regularly scheduled music festival up by two weeks, to April 17-19. The location of Empire Polo Field in Indio, Calif. is not set to change.
Billboard says, "First staged in 1999, Coachella remains the premier American festival
event of the year for alternative music lovers. The event has become
renowned for reuniting or featuring cult favorite bands that hadn't
played in the United States in years, such as Portishead, Rage Against
The Machine, Daft Punk and Kraftwerk."
A line-up will be confirmed early next year. Until then, whet your whistle with full Paste coverage of Coachella 2008: Day 1, Day 2 and Day 3.
