Flaming Lips to release Christmas on Mars DVD and CD

To the enthusiastic delight of fans, Warner Bros. has announced plans to release the Flaming Lips film Christmas on Mars on DVD. And now details about the DVD are being released too...joy to the world!

Although originally planned for a October release, the official word is now Nov. 11 for the 86 min. "sci fi/holiday/fantasy/space/drug adventure" flick. The DVD bonus features will detail how the band came around to the film and is set to include interviews with band members and a featurette called From Drawings to a Movie: Inside Wayne's Endless Yellow Notepad.

A deluxe edition of the DVD is also being released and will include a CD soundtrack.
