He's got game like Stuart. Scott. Fresh out the ESPN shop. You might not know that Lil Wanye recently became a blogger for the Entertainment and Sports Programming Network, but with the best-selling album of the year in his back pocket, Weezy has plenty of time to to devote to swag-offs and writing thesis-length analyses of pro football (dude has ESPN tattooed on his arm, for cryin' out loud).
"I've had [the tattoo] for at least three months now, so that should show you how
seriously I'm gonna take this," he gushed in a follow-up post. "I know some people out there don't think
it's really me, but you have to prove a lot of things when you're an
entertainer, so I'm used to it. "
It's not all Richard Collier and Brett Favre, though. Mr. Carter let slip in his latest post that even with the success of Tha Carter III (insert "A Milli" joke here) he's still hard at work in the booth on a sequel, the aptly named Tha Carter IV.
Another mixtape in the DJ Drama-produced "Gangsta Grillz" series, Dedication 3, is in the offing as well. As a sweetener, the album will be released with "20 extra songs for free" on Lil Wayne's website after the brick-and-mortar release.
Whodathunk that Wayne is as prone to geeking out as the rest of us? Really, it's our own fault if we're surprised, because it's not like he wasn't honest about his obsessions.
