Los Campesinos! announce We Are Beautiful extras

October 3, 2008  |  2:19pm
On Nov. 11, Los Campesinos! will release their quick follow-up to last Spring's Hold On Now, Youngster... with their new disc from Arts & Crafts, We Are Beautiful, We Are Doomed.

Like Of Montreal before them, Campesinos! have announced plans to release tons of extras to go along with their new disc. Included is a 30-page zine, a band-member-made documentary about their experience at a couple of summer festivals, a poster by Jeffrey Brown as well as "other stuff by members of Xiu Xiu, Grandaddy, Tender Forever, Menomena, Parenthetical Girls and the Beautiful South's Paul Heaton that...plays on the album title." Additionally, the disc is only getting a one-press run, and then will be out of print.

The band has also launched the Shred Yr Face website to attract fan interaction for the tour with No Age and Times New Viking.

Last but not least, the boys are prepping a European tour called "Quit Yr Jobs, Get Tattoos."
