Like peanut butter and jelly, Sonny and Cher, or a monkey and a cowboy outfit, some things just go together well. Collaborations between Weezer and Spike Jonze have always been fruitful, producing some of the most inventive music videos ever conceived. Videos for "Undone," "Buddy Holly," and "Island in the Sun" helped Jonze get the notice he needed to transition into the feature director he is today.
It looks like the pair will be back together for the first time since 2001. Weezer's guitarist Brian Bell revealed to The Dallas Observor that Jonze will be directing their upcoming video for "The Greatest Man That Ever Lived." This will be only the second video Jonze has directed in the last three years. No date for the shoot is known, so for now you can check out their past collaborations below:Related links:
