Vince Vaughn to develop, exec-produce Fox sitcom

October 23, 2008  |  2:37pm
Vince Vaughn is finalizing negotiations with Fox Broadcasting Co. and 20th Century Fox TV to develop a sitcom about two aimless post-grad roommates.

The Four Christmases star will executive produce the show with his sister, Victoria Vaughn. The two recently worked together on the films The Break-Up and next year's Couples Retreat. But the Vaughns won't be the only siblings on staff. Brothers Jim and Steve Armogida (both of the WB's Grounded for Life and PBS drama My Family) have been tapped to write the pilot for the as-yet-unnamed sitcom.

Vaughn is reportedly being given "wide berth" to choose the talent and other creative elements for the single-camera, half-hour show.
