Barenaked Ladies to release DVD of latest cruise outing

| | Comments (1)
Canadian five piece Barenaked Ladies has announced plans to release a new DVD, SHIPS & DIPS III, chronicling their commercial Caribbean cruise event earlier this year. The disc, due Dec. 6, will include the band’s performances aboard the ship as well as behind-the-scenes footage as BNL traveled south from Miami last January. It's available for pre-order on the band's website.
The band’s latest album, Snacktime!, aimed at kids, was released earlier this year. BNL singer Ed Robertson was in the news late last summer when the licensed pilot’s plane crashed with several passengers onboard. Luckily, no one was hurt.

Despite its title, the performances on the DVD mark the second time the Barenaked Ladies embarked on a Ships & Dip cruise, with a third event, SHIPS & DIP V, set to launch in early February.

Mention Ed's plane crash, but not Steve's arrest and subsequent plea-bargain on cocaine charges?
