Eugene Mirman has an album and a book on the way

Eugene Mirman, poster boy for absurdist comedy, is nothing if not prolific. After working with Stella, 236.com, and Modest Mouse (to name a few,) Messr. Mirman plans to expand his ouevre with a book and follow-up album.

The Russian-born comic has finished recording a sequel to 2006's En Garde, Society! The yet-to-be-titled album will be out soon on Sub Pop.

Mirman also revealed in a recent press release that he'll soon be releasing a "outlandish self-help guide to modern life" titled Will to Whatevs: "In this book I will teach you, based on stuff I have either made up, observed, or overheard, how to live the life you want-the life you Will. Obviously, if your name is Will and you are slow, this book will be confusing/upsetting. Be careful. Thanks."

Those named Will, beware: Will to Whatevs will be out Feb. 10 on Harper-Collins.
